About Me
Hi, I am Abhishek Sarkar and I live in Kolkata, India with my Mom and Dad. I've always had a passion for learning and
sharing the knowledge I procure. I am always curious about the stuff I am ignorant about & annoyingly ask questions until I have some concept about it in my grasps.
I like to see people around & the people I love happy and smiling. I like to solve other's problems & issues and provide quick solutions if I can so almost invariably I like being optimistic. I love to write(as you would notice how long this section gets...😉), listen to songs and sing a bit when I'm alone, I love any genre of music, national or international and especially admire instrumental. I love to watch and play any sports and games, my favourite being Cricket. I also like to watch movies, I'm a Chris Nolan Fan and I used to play games before, not much now, My Favourite would be, 'The Elder Scrolls-V Skyrim'💗(Ah.. nostalgia...). Lastly, I love kids and enjoy playing with them, I adore their innocence, simplicity & keenness to know more.
I started participating in Quiz contest when I was in Class-V. Secured First, Second and Third place quite often in numerous competitions I participated representing my School House- Green House(St. Patrick's House), my school (St. Jude's High School) & individual too and not to forget lost miserably on countless occasions. But I never curbed my curiosity nor my hunger for knowledge. Even if I lost, I stayed till the event was over so that I could record all the data and questions asked there. As important as obtaining information is, sharing is quintessential for a seeker like me as it enables the required trust for mutual exchange of information. Never have I been too proud of what I know, I've been a humble student and considered knowledge to be the priority not where it is coming from for the likes of age, gender and so on. I kept participating in quiz, elocution, debate contests till my higher secondary. I stopped participating in the contests but kept my heart and mind open to learning more.
I did my Graduation in B.Com Honours in Accountancy under Calcutta University from A.G.C. Bose College and simultaneously cleared the entrance examination for the Chartered Accountancy Course (C.P.T.) and started the C.A. Intermediary Level. But as they say, 'Life is not always a bed of roses nor a bed of thorns, it's a bed of roses filled with thorns'. My Dad suffered a Major Stroke which shook us. Luckily he was treated well and recovered but this incident shook us terribly. I paused my C.A. Inter Level studies and decided to do a job which would both help me gain some valuable job experience & help me and my family stabilise from the sudden financial setback until we can recover & I have enough financial backup to resume & pursue my studies.
I worked in two big organisations under different job roles, one for 7 months and the other for a year. I met some great people, made friends with many of them & also learnt a lot about work culture, ethics, responsibilities and performing duties which was without a doubt an invaluable experience for me. Then after more than one and half years of job experience, I decided to leave my job and resume my studies when I realised I have enough savings from my Income to devote into studies. Personally, it was heart-wrenching for me to say goodbye to all my friends and the known faces I've worked with but I'm happy that I did the right thing as it was necessary for my career & the completion of my own knowledge curve which I had left incomplete. Since then I've started on my own learning curve, taking courses, training & classes whichever is required.
So, there you go, that's a SHORT 😜 note about me and I Thank You all who have read it till here. I will update this section if any important event comes up in my life in future. I am working very hard to provide good content here within the limited timeframe I get in a day. So, if there's an error in any post or if you want to appreciate, any questions about any information or me, or any suggestions for me or for the improvement of this blog, feel free to Comment and Contact me. This blog is still in Work in Progress so all your comments and contributions will be much appreciated. I will try to respond as soon as possible. Thanks a Lot for stopping by😊. Cheers!!!🎉Bye...🙋
